High Willhayes camp

A wild camp on High Willhayes on Dartmoor with a fellow you tuber Cornish Knives and camping, in the thick mist rain and wind. Apologies for the quality and the wind noise.

Crap weather, heavy fog, wind, what are we waiting for? Perfect conditions :-) Two of my favorite tents I never owned in this video. I might have to break down some day and get them. I've waffled between the two, and now Hilleberg is coming out with the 'black label' Soulo. I have the Snugpak Bunker and the Mil-Tec recon 1 as well as a Wynnchester adventurer 'bedroll'. The Bunker is as solid a tent as you could want, been through some very terrible weather in it and it's never leaked or let me down. I got to your channel from Carl's (Dartmoor Explorer). How cold was it overnight? I've never camped on the moor this late in the year. Anyway, a bad day on the moor is still better than a good day at work. ;)

it was about 6c that night so was fine I love the winter time, I like to see the frost over the moors and some snow, A winter bag and extra layers will keep you toasty. Thanks for commenting.
