High-Wing Spoiler Install Guide: 2016-2024 Camaro LT/LS & RS

The GM High-Wing spoiler came onto the market without much details. It simply appeared. This is a direct bolt on for a LT or LS car and it will bolt-on in place of the blade spoiler as well. If you have an RS equipped car, no holes need to be drilled.

Matt if you will pre drill your holes starting with an 1/8" drill bit and work your way up to the desired larger size you will not have as big an issue with your drill bit "walking" on you and the hole will be much cleaner around the edges with little to no distortion of the metal.

If you look at the 3rd hole I did just that. Didn’t seem to help. actually caused the big bit to grab the metal and tear it.

LethalGarage when it does that it means that your step between 2 drill bits is simply too big. Use more drills and you'll be fine.

I installed mine a couple of months ago. Fyi, if you already have the RS spoiler it uses the same mounting holes. No problems with water leakage with mine.

Just a little help for you next time use a small pilot drill first that way your bigger bite won't move around on you. This will make it a lot easier on install. Hope don't mind we saying anything. God bless and prays for your son.Marry Christmas to you and your family!

I currently have an RS camaro trying to add a camaro SS spoiler on my car. It’s currently at the shop gone get started on installing but I’m nervous now they might not know how to and drill holes in the wrong spots since I’ve watched this video.

Ik ACS also sells the high-wing for the LT/LS I was wondering if you could prob put the wicker bill from ZL1 Addons on this spoiler too or it will not fit/look weird? Kinda looking for a similar look of the spoiler on the Gen 5 Z/28

Another awesome video Matt You do a great step by step installation!!! If you are interested my 2013 ZL1 was returned to G.M. under the Lemon law so I purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawck and the dealership said I would be able to pick it up before Christmas but it looks like it's going to be in the first part of January so if you would ever want to do a review on it that would be awesome I live about 30 min from you and it is only going to take me a day or 2 to put the 500 miles on it so you could do a proper review (for launch control to be activated) just let me know if your interested..Thank's again for your great video's..
