I'm very glad you decided Chewy was much more important than money. If that sounds glib, it's most certainly not meant to be so. It was never a question, the Vet started by saying you have 2 choices, either we put him down now or we operate...i said there is no choice just operate and we will talk after it. Hes 8 years old now, hopefully he has a few more good years in him. Sorry to hear about your poochy Kelly, its a horrible thing to go through. I turn 67 this Saturday. I, also, hope to stick around here, Ballarat, for a while yet. I'd have done anything to have given Kelly more quality time with me. But she was old, about 105 in human terms, tired, and very ill. I miss her terribly, 4 months after she went to her rest. But I've got Sputnik now. I had decided before Kelly went away, that I would get another mate, really soon. This big, old, place, is awful, without a dog here. He's an American Staffie x Pit Bull. Adopted from the local Council Shelter. No Kill Policy. He's just 2 y.o., not a bad bone in his body. A bashful teenager. He'd not had the best early couple of years, but that's all changed. He loves his new dad, and his dad loves him. If you have a second, Facebook, Sputnik the Wicked. The life and times of a hooligan. But as you say, mate, when they are crook, nothing will be allowed to get in the way of their recovery. I'm glad he's bounced back, makes us happy men. There are far too many, who wouldn't have thought twice, about the crap option. "Not spending that on a dog". It's a family member we're talking about. No discussion. When Kelly was unwell, I spent a fortune at the vet, don't know how much, never tallied it up, the hurt would be too great, sold a number of guitars from my collection, didn't care. Had to be done. Would do it again. There's still more guitars. See you in the bush sometime maybe, mate. Cheers.

Glad chew is on the mend nothing compares to a mans best friend 😊 nice little haul there for some top soil aswell I could set up camp and stay there for weeks it’s just so peaceful and beautiful!!
