Denali is an excellent example. Since my parents put a road into an undisturbed area to build a cottage, and seeing introduced plants spread through the property and a lot of subsequent ecological degradation as a result, I became aware of how problematic our addiction to machines, noise, light, etc. is to the rest of the planet...the only known life in the universe.
