Higher Self for Rosh Hashanah

As Rosh Hashanah approaches, we focus on Hashem as ‘melech’/king which means let go let God. Elul אֱלוּל this month is broken into ‘Lo’ לֹא and lo לוֹ which means No and To Him. What’s the connection? To the degree we can negate (No) our ego (lower self) to that degree we are with God (To Him). Let’s focus on our Higher self going into Rosh Hashana and rely on Hashem to take care of us in the best way possible this year. Shana Tova!
