The guy who started off the song is named Changbin. The argument could *_easily_* be made that he is the greatest rapper in Kpop right now. The dude has machine-gun flow like you wouldn't believe. Stray Kids are contracted under a company called JYP Entertainment. JYP is one the top three biggest management companies in Korea. These 3 companies have been colloquially known as "the big 3," SM, JYP, and YG Entertainment(for reference: NCT is under SM Ent., STRAY KIDS are under JYP Ent., & BLACKPINK are under YG Ent.) Out of these three, YG has always been known as the more hip-hop focused in terms of brand awareness...and the founders &(former) head CEOs of YG & JYP Ent. are actually friends from way back when the Kpop industry was birthed back in '92. So YG & JYP have had a bit of a friendly rivalry when it comes to their male groups...they have more than once brought their brand new yet-to-debut groups together and had them participate in a little competition. So when JYP was putting together a new boy group, it seems like he was tired of YG always having better rap performances(since, as I mentioned before, YG is all about hip hop) and decided to recruit the baddest rappers he could find and put them in this new group. That group became Stray Kids...(and that YG/JYP battle is on KZbin if you wanna watch it😁) BTW, You asked if that was actually the dude's real voice, and it definitely is...these days the male groups in Korea more often than not have at least one tenor range deep voice guy in the group...and you also asked who that group of girls were in the video...that's JYP's newest project: an all-Japanese group catered for the Japanese market...JYP partnered with Sony to.put the group together... they're named NIZIu, I think...

I also think you would like the groups Ateez, Seventeen, and TXT. Lastly, theres a song called 'The Purge' by H1gher Music (korean hiphop) that would be a good intro to Korean Hiphop. I was so speechless too, my brain is still trying to process the meaning of the song and MV. I did figure out that “Shin” / “Shen” word means both “God” and “New” 👀 They literally became GODS OF THE KITCHEN, scientist construction area, nascar, marching band etc in this video which I think speaks for itself and dont even get me started on the fashion & visuals because OMG i’m dead. Everyone who doesn’t understand abit about the language & meanings have that reaction especially when they hear the “naega” word; which is very commonly used allot in the asian culture & music. It’s not the same as the american “N” word, which allot of westerners got too comfortable hearing or saying and assumes automatically when they hear it from a foreigner that’s what they mean but it has nothing to do with african americans at all. *In some foreign languages, many common american words will sound different and have different meanings to them*

If this was your first track....You should go back to their first track, their pre-debut hit Hellevator, and debut song District 9. These boi’s always been fire. All 8 members can rap and sing and dance hella fine. And Felix Lee from Australia really has a voice that’s deeper than the Mariana Trench and it goes higher than a chipmunk on helium...Just saying so you know. There a whole videos dedicated to Lee Felix’s voice and his duality, I think his extended range stems from his beatboxing ability. The leader Chris/Bang Chan is also from Australia and moved to Korea to become a JYP Trainee at the age of 13. He had dedicated himself his whole life to making music. Seo Changbin is the rapper that starts and finish’s the song, and Han Jisung, the second rapper, are part of a group with the leader called 3racha. They write compose and produce their own music as well as Straykids discography. You should check out their stuff too. We Go and Passion are two of my favourites. once you get to know 3racha you will have an even deeper appreciation for Straykids beats and lyrics, because these three guys are all genius. They also have a series of video’s called SKZ-Player, where they showcase their members or individuals with solo’s. Changbin featuring Bang Chan -Streetlight and Han - I Got It are absolute Musts.
