Heads up, this was recorded pre patch and the r11 r12 true combo of the Fire Knights Greatsword was patched out. This doesn’t affect the Golem Fist in anyway. Sorry about that! I’m traveling and recorded this video before I left.

1:24 i think the frame data for the heavy is different from caestus's, caestus is 13 frame startup while this is 16 i believe

I'm surprised you didn't just go ahead and self-poison multiplier stack with Crown, Kindred & OH Poisoned Hand :) - which afaik you can still take advantage of on paired. While the Weapon Buff MVs mostly copy/pastes the other fists on their 2-hits being 90+90, the 2H Charged R2 gets a full 100+100 even on ranged. The Status MV however is cut down to 50 for the ranged hit, so it does not become another Reduvia. In general the DLC weapons often have better Buff/Status MVs than the usual cut down values for pre-DLC weapons.

Great info as always! And yeah full poison buff was tempting but I can’t do allll my builds with poison, people seem to really hate the mushroom crown lol (personally I love it though)

As much as I'd like to try these the absolute lack of range on the R2s would make me go insane. It should travel half a medium-sized room AT LEAST. It's just worse spike fists in their current state.

Yeah I wish it would have been a one two punch roll catch that travelled just a little further, then maybe the follow up could be more damage less ranged dual attack.

Not to mention that they have damage falloff within that very short range. The idea that these things have ‘ranged’ attacks is basically a lie, you’ll literally be doing absolutely piss damage to anything beyond standard fist melee range anyway.

Ive had people walk through the frost stomp and take 20 damage not even rolling. It just bugs or has poor hitbox some times

Stone Rocket fist! Where the dry leaf is like ds2 bone fist, this feels like the ds1 stone fist from iron giant if it had projectiles instead of the flying upper cut.

All the thrown weapons could use some more range it seems, also it’s damage fall off on the good range ones are abysmal

does the axe talisman boost the projectile attack? does the smithscript talisman? i'm interested in figuring out the best damage configuration for it based on talisman loadout and i'm also interested in knowing if the projectiles are capable of proc'ing status effects and what the best infusion is, i know if you're just gonna pop an exalted flesh then pure physical is probably the way to go but there should be alot of interesting data here to uncover.

I think I tested the axe tali and found that it didn’t improve projectile damage. I wouldn’t be surprised if the smith script does boost the projectile damage but I haven’t test. I’m away right now but I’ll try to get back to you on this, these are great questions

Smithcript tali works axe talisman does not, and yes, projectiles can proc status

I've actually had the most fun with these using the deflecting tear, curved sword talisman & greatshield talisman using a roar build. I will say I'm at lvl 168 & have 62 endurance/72 strength/ & light roll at 54 poise. But whew they have 46 guard boost which is crazy for a fist weapon. And the last thing an opponent expects is to guard a colossal sword with your hands and throw it back at them.

This does surprisingly well when infused with lifesteal fist, absolutely demolishing the arena. However I’d recommend something else for PvE, like the aow you’re using. It’s a pretty good choice.

do you ever lose? you should add a bit on the end where you go over how you might defeat the strategies you are using because you make everything look invincible.

If you want, you could wear the turtle shell for even more stamina regen since you're two-handing anyway

This is literally my favourite weapon in the game since the dlc came out and I found out I could far it! I once threw my fist at a mage that was taking a sippy break and it staggered him and then I killed him 😂😂

You WILL be disappointed. Guy making this vid really didn’t explain how bad these things are… the R2’s are truly abysmal, absolutely no range and severe damage falloff in that limited range with very little stance damage compared to the rest of the fist class and HUGE stamina consumption. Until these things get buffed, they are really not viable weapons, you’ll find that out if you try them.

@@Lilacropolis Yeah now try using ball fists or star fists instead and marvel at the drastic fucking difference. I’m dying on this hill man, golem fists are absolutely atrocious. Stamina cost on the pitiful heavies is way too high and throwing them at range is literally useless which is the whole gimmick of the weapon.
