Highest early season West Nile activity reported around Las Vegas valley

More mosquitoes in the Las Vegas area have tested positive for West Nile virus, health officials say, making it the highest level of activity in the program's history this early in a season.

Less pass a tax law, no plants that are not native to the desert. = no water, no misqitos, and the water level goes up. Too many people with grass and tress that suck water up.
