dsa is mandatory for front end . Since you are a front end dev interviewer expects you to write code in only JS. I suggest practice leetcode questions on js rather than any other language. I have given 200+ interviews on front end starting from service based , small to mid size product based . I have even appeard for jobs outside india. I have 6 + yrs exp in front end . I regret being a front end engineer. I have applied to all good companies for last 3 years but never recieved a call. I tried putting java in my resume with spring boot and I started getting calls from faang level companies . Frontend has very less scope, you will get calls only from startups and service based companies . No one will take you seriously in office as people think there is no complexity in front end and eventually you will end up as underpaid or you have to switch lot of jobs to get a good salary. Learn java and dsa your future will be bright ,dont listen to youtube gurus.

Side by side Learn Database technologies like SQL just 15 days process. Nad also start learning Node Js with javascript which is essential for backend make projects with all combined. I am a back end engineer here in Australia, and we are trying to hire good c++ and Java developers but not able to fill the positions as candidates are not good enough. Java is a pretty cool and popular language NGL. It is used widely for desktop and mobile apps and ofc games. I recommend that you don't quit. But if you are dying for web dev then why not? Its not hard as hell, I learned html in 4 days spending 7hr everyday, then CSS in 3 weeks, 7hr everyday, then Js in 1week, 7hr everyday. You can do it too and better. (Also apps are actually faster than browsers)

He's not interested in your worries or about the job market, look at all his answers in comments almost all of them are saying that he'll talk about that in his next video. Java is very demanding and has been for a very long time, learn java web development also do dsa using java and then you can also learn html css js and react. Database mysql, mongodb is also in demand for nosql. Front end is very vast and not many in india have achieved the level that is on web, it is still growing. One thing for sure you gotta be artistic and good with designs, themes, decorations in general to be a very good front end engineer in long term if you are then definitely start with front end. If you don't know if you are artistic enough in general then go with java web dev and dsa first and foremost. And yes don't get too obsessed with dsa cuz only doing that won't get you a job, will help you clear rounds, get real job skills that includes dsa but it's a part of it. Developing full basic application is the whole thing you should try to focus on most part of it if you're a beginner

@K S Vignesh It's your choice what you want to learn, you can learn development, you can learn DSA. But I advise everyone to learn both DSA + Development. You can give first 6 month to Web development then practise DSA along with it.

@@rohitghorpade9486 DSA will help you clearing coding rounds and interviews and Java will help you to learn spring boot which is in demand. So I will suggest you DSA+Java. But you should also look at your interest.

If you want to get hired in MNC as entry level software developer/engineer they just want you to have good programming knowledge and dsa knowledge. (good to have other technical skills) .But if you want job at startup , these startup companies want you to have specific domain knowledge such frontend , backend or full-stack so you should learn web development. See learning in software development career will always be there and whatever you are going to learn it will be always usefull in your career.

It's ok. You don't need that degree. Work on your skills. Learn from youtube or paid courses. Learn DSA and development. You will get great jobs.
