For anyone wondering about the crashing, it's not actually crashing but a reset. The basic version is the game has a set amount of objects in each given map. Objects are things like doors, perk machines, sounds. So, Quick Revive is one object and it's jingle is another. Every, iirc, 50 milliseconds the game duplicates the amount of objects on the map. So if the map has 270, it would go to 540 and then 810 etc etc. At least WAW, BO1 and BO2 are 32 bit games, meaning the highest number it can keep track of is 2,147,483,647. With the objects constantly stacking, they will eventually reach this maximum number, which forces the game to reset. This time is somewhat predictable, you can do some things to increase the time you've got before a reset, like starting the map fresh (not restarting from a previous run) and getting rid of Quick Revive (2 less objects, it does add up). Every map has a different amount of objects, and therefore a different time until reset. Edit: it's also worth noting that the game stops duplicating objects when paused, allowing for breaks. Multiplayer records are much shorter because the game can't be paused, breaks eat up precious time. However, the game can only run 27 days before black screening due to a seperate rising number. You can wait another 27 days for the game to return to normal, but, the chances of this happening without a crash or power outage is low.

Buy Double Tap or not, it's still there. iirc the only objects you can remove are doors and Quick Revive, as Quick Revive leaves after your third buy, removing (iirc) 2 objects with the machine itself and the jingle.

@@jackmeister4354 nah that's a good question, I wish I knew the technical answer to tell you, but, I don't. My best guess is the game checks to see if it needs to update anything, like remove a door or Quick Revive. If something doesn't need changing it gets added again. That's just a guess, though.

Also a little fun fact about cruppz is that Cruppz is the only player to reset on SNN and Der Riese World At War. He’s the 2nd person ever to reset in world at war history. He’s the only person to reset on both console and pc AND he got all the waw maps in high school

8:59 Update On Buried: The record got beat by 2 rounds by Issuez since the making of this video. That might not seem like a lot because of the 2 round difference but it's seriously massive in terms of time. Just some info for clarity, All of the BO1 records except Call of the Dead ended in reset which is basically when the game restarts after a set amount of time, so it’s a little different than crashing because players expect it and know when it will happen. Idk how ZWR organizes the BO3 255s but it’s not by speed, the fastest 255 is considered record but none of those are the fastest 255. And I’m also tied for the Buried record with 2 other people, Thysa and Blasters.

fun fact: the Wunderwaffe DOES NOT remove jug it does the same thing as it does on shi no numa. however JUG works differently on both maps and causes the der riese bug. what happens is the Wunderwaffe permanently decreases your health. on shi no numa if you get hit it fixes it because of the way jug immediately starts healing over time but on der riese jug doesnt fix itself and your health stays permanently lowered

Im sure that someone else has mentioned this but in bo1 most of those games that "crashed" aren't crashes. Those are resets which happen in every WaW and bo1 map and Cruppz explains how they work in his high round history videos. So they aren't unfortunate crashes they are inevitable

5:04 Umesco’s game ended in what’s called box error. explosives can cause it to occur earlier. when you hit the box on any black ops I map it stores into the memory of the game and you hit the box enough you’ll error/crash whatever you wanna call it. You have to trade multiple Vr’s a round on solo at one point that’s why he box errored in his game. When the screen goes back to the loading screen. That is called a reset. A reset occurs when the 32 bit integer (2,147,483,647) hits the max and it can’t go over so the game goes back to loading screen and brings you back to round 1. This 32 bit interger hitting the limit is how insta kill rounds work it’s just earlier in the game 1/3 of the way in because zombie health is more exponential then the interger number on the map because each map has a different set of base entities so reset times on maps vary. You can take entities off the map by doing different things

A couple of those Vanguard records are super beatable if you have the patience to play the game for long enough. It's not a difficulty issue because I think zombie health caps at 7k and their damage caps at 75 or 100. Not sure why Cold War is all 935 - It would be a really weird round number cap... But maybe the community just collectively chose to end games at 935. Outbreak I would ASSUME is pre-patch because I recall it being way easier than intended somehow? I forget what it was. If it's current patch Outbreak then hats off to that guy lol. For IW, Shaolin's record isn't that bad for difficulty provided you do the easter egg beforehand because that boss room has a really powerful trap. Only reason it would be hard for a typical WR guy would be if resets are an inssue due to the long fan cooldown time. Beast From Beyond is likely lower too because the map is kind of unstable and has a glitch where it constantly plays spawn effects for special zombies without spawning them. Idk if this contributes to the asset counter thing, but it does make it very annoying to play. Good job to everyone though. It's an absolutely brutal commitment to do highrounds. Over the course of 3 days me and 2 guys got to round 128 on dead ops arcade 3 first person, shit is so draining.

Wow I wish I'd record my stuff. I was on round 115 on Nuketown zombies solo. Only stopped because I got bored with it. It's actually easy. You just herd the zombies till the spawn limit, then you go to a backyard and get some distance and let them have it. Then repeat herding till spawn limit and you will never have any issues. Unless you run out of ammo. Super easy though.

Shoutout to “ THEGAMERZEND “ The player who achieved world record for Shadows of Evil.. I’ve known this dude for years literally since dlcs were starting to be released in blops 2 & this dude was absolutely insaneee ! I literally joined his High round game one time and he was on round 101 in Origins, I quickly left as I didn’t want to interrupt in anyway😂 I just wanted to feel the intensity … this just goes to show he use to play high rounds for literally fun on Non Ranked. He’s also hit 255 on the giant & im pretty sure his got the world record for 4 player Co-op on The Giant.. Absolutely underrated & unknown Legendary Zombie player ! His literally hit almost max rounds on every bo3 map .

So due to how the "crashing" happens in most maps, it's because of how many things are loaded into game and it becomes too much for whatever game it is. Call of the Dead has many things in it including George's electricity so it crashes earlier than other maps. So it is impossible to get round 100 on it before it resets. Once every map reaches its limit everything it resets, and I am pretty sure Call of the Deads is around round 50, don't take my word though.

just wanna point out they're not crashing (at least in the older cods) but it's a reset cuz the games r made in 32bit so after so many entities r made or after so many hours it resets the game cuz it tries to go above the 32bit limit. sick vid tho
