Hello friends.... Regarding booklist...Followings are my details. FOR PAPER 1 : MAP : This is the very vital part where I invested much time compared to 2016.I studied spectrum historical map, and upinder singh, bought maps nd randomly located sites as per their time period (like paleolithic, Neolithic,harappan etc)...Apart from that I joined gs score test series. They provide booklets on map . That also helped me...Though I attempted 18 out of 20. 16-17 sites were correct. So the point is practice as much as possible, whatever sites you read during study , try to note them down n place them on map. Ancient : TN board 11th class history book, Upinder Singh , coaching's printed notes.....I tried to make small notes on the margins of upinder singh after reading 2-3 pages nd letter pasted them on my printer coaching notes so that in last moment I only had to revise those notes where my inputs were already there. Apart from that I also read the study material provided by gs score during test series. They were helpful especially in terms of unconventional questions. MEDIEVAL : TN board 11th class + Satish chandra 1,2 + JL Mehta volume 3 selected chapter (2,5,8,9,11) + coaching notes (printed)+ selfstudyhistory.com (selective) + GS score study material of historians . Again same strategy, making notes on margin of books and incorporating them in coaching notes to minimize revision time. MODERN HISTORY : Spectrum, fantastic funda youtube lectures on early modern history (very helpful, as he made the lectures combining shekhar bandopadhyaya n bipan chandra but don't listen all the lectures , listen only those which you feel necessary)+balyan notes. World history Baliyan notes (but not sufficient) so I also read ojha sir notes, selected chapters from Norman Lowe + remaining topics from selfstudyhjstory.com.....Revise them as much as possible..

Sir, Map inputting inside the answer is ok but should we use flowchart or diagram in history answer.Because, logic and explanation do a lot of matter in history answer, and it is difficult to include explanation and flowchart within limited period.Moreover,some people say the examiner prefer explanation over flowchart. Plz sir, tell whether the flowchart can be used or not.
