There is something quite immersive about watching your commented highfleet videos. The way you play and think in this game is very interesting to watch. I own a copy, but havent played much, because i dont really know how to even play this game properly. Was hoping for a new upload since the battle of Imgur-Emlil video. It was worth the wait.

you can make a ship maintan posision with setting a course then setting the velocity to zero.

It's always was a good tactic. Make as much damage as possible and roll out Sev to finish them in the end.

How do you feel safe using radar, just seems like a liability when hunted by SGs

Constant use of radar actually preserved me much more, than having it turned off. Thanks to it i spot trader ships coming early and can capture them silently on land. Or i can see enemy attacks from far away and prepare AA staged defences & evasion. You just have to turn it off when you get the ELINT signal. Conduct deep recon and rough areas of incoming ELINT threats. Use limited radar cone to adjacent routes from next cities to catch traders. Just management and wise use of equipment, not fear of it.

@@Shockwave1794 yes, it's about stealth and also radar frequency. When you have sector search ON, the dish of the radar will focus onto that 60 degree cone and update it much faster, rather than doing full 360 full sweep - you don't have to wait for the whole turn to get an update. Why is that important? You can estimate what kind of threat it is on a search radar early, without having to take it closer to FCR. By updating it's location per time - calculate speed and make proper conclusions. If it's >600 kmph - it's a missile, or planes. If it's around 100 - it's a heavy ship.
