Highland Cathedral - Drehorgel Orchester - Raffin, Hofbauer and Stuber- Hand turned organ Orchestra

When multiple hand turned crank organs are all in the same room, there is bound to be fun and shenanigans!
More organs will join in as the music progresses!
This is still one of my very top favourite pieces!
The Stuber is taking the lead with Raffins 31er arrangement of Highland Cathedral The two 20er. join in and play all the notes of it that they have available
Don’t they all sound wonderful together!

Der Stuber übernimmt mit Raffins 31er-Arrangement die Führung der Highland Cathedral mit den beiden 20er. Machen Sie mit und spielen Sie alle Noten, die ihnen zur Verfügung stehen

That was an awesome video and I can’t believe that you had all 3 of your organs in time and playing the same music. Unbelievable. That was so awesome that you could crank 2 organs at the same time. Who was the gentleman cranking beside you? He was doing an awesome job as well. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us.

This is able to be done when you hook organs together that have midi systems as they are all receiving a signal but they won’t play unless you crank because the pipes still require an air supply given by the bellows through the cranking motion Only one organ The Stuber on the right. Had the music. And was giving it to my Raffin and the Hofbauer by the cables But depending on how you connect the cables. Any of the organs is able to be “the sender” It is more amazing to crank music rolls together because there you have have complete control of the timing as the speed and timing of the music entirely depends upon your cranking speed There is a video where I am cranking two organs myself , both with music rolls in them so I had to time both hands together. And both organs require a different turning speed to get the same speed of music play I will upload it now! The man at the side is a friend of mine. This is when I took my organ to Germany recently on a visit

You should have heard it before I edited it! I actually raised the volume in the first half of the video before René joined in Not sure if my microphone might have been pointed more toward René. I think I did do that because previously when I recorded the orchestra. There were 2 Stubers in the line up with the Hofbauer and with René the Raffin. And you could only really hear the Stubers. But they had all the registers pushed in. Next time we do this I’ll point the mic in the middle at the Hofbauer as that’s the quietest of the 3. You. Do hear the Stuber well in this video though when René is playing. Most of the upper melody is coming from the Stuber as that’s a 31 arrangement and over the top of the pipes of the 20ers who are providing the accompaniment
