This was the funnest block we had this year, s/o's to Heavy Hitters. We'll see yall again at Warren County. This is coming from a Hillside drummer.

For those of you who say Hillside won: Technicality =/= Musicality. Too many people think that because one drumline played easier stuff, they're the weaker line, even though that's not the case. HSHS played easier stuff sure, but you can't sit here and tell me they aren't one of the NICEST schools in VA/NC. It's all about musicality, not the difficulty.

I'm Blue Steel til I die but I'd have to say if anything it would have been a tie if HSHS didn't drop his stick. Blue Steel had the chops were dirty and didn't look alike at very obvious points. Heavy Hitters were cleaner, though the material was easier. They looked more together. That quint intro at 11:41 was groovy too Heavy Hitters. Good battle for the young guys though.

I preferred Heavy Hitters. Really clean drumline altogether. Their presentation was just more professional.

calling it a tie...Hillside had better punch cadences but their was not clean especially snares. Highland Springs had the cleaner line even though Hillside snares played more technical material they weren't clean.
