I just got back into dirt bike riding since my youngest son got the dirt bike bug. He got a flat on our second major ride, saw one of your first videos on mousse balls and installed them on both our bikes. Couldn't be happier. We ride easy single/double track with some moderate riding here and there. 40-60 miles each trip. So far I love them. I accidently put his rear tire on backwards and need to switch it around, I'll get to see how they've held up over 100 miles or so.

Thanks for addressing this, Morgan! I was considering trying a front mousse a few weeks ago and read on their website that the Mousse Balls could be spaced apart to provide a softer feel. My first thought was, "what keeps them from shifting around?" Turns out it's a valid concern. Go me! 😁

I took my regular mousse out and added a wedge today and was so surprised at how the cross section of the wedge was easily 2 inches wider than my well used mousse.

I totally agree about the moose balls. I just installed them and used the recommended number to achieve soft feel but it left me with a large void that had me clunking down the road. Had to add one more and now it seems pretty good

Yeah, they feel great anyway. The consistency of the foam makes them grip well

I really like the non-tire specific sizing for mousse balls. Like I've got a set in a 140/80 tire but that's just because that size came on the bike and wanted to use it. Finish this tire and use same mousse balls in new smaller one.

oh and run your 13 psi nitro moose in your duel sport for awhile (to be determined per you) to soften it, then run a soften 13psi drilled or not drilled in you 2 stroke hard endure bike. and you get double doudy out of it, I got that from Jimmy Lewis.

Have you ever tested the lucioli inner tube? For hard enduro, I like it. Super tough but it is a little heavy.

Some guys on tires think that the dirt is the same where they ride as every place in the world, that tire might suck in my area of PNW, but 4 hours away it might be the cats meow.

Yes Morrton, it's me again.😀 First I like the Talon too. Second with the "21" balls in that tire, what do you estimate the psi rating to be? Third, when you run the 110/100-18, how many balls do put in that tire, for what psi set up?

Where I live we have "Otom" mousse from China that retail for $60. They feel the same as Nitromousse standard mousse and last just as long. The foam is a bit different but they work great. Do any of you ever see these in the states?

No. I’ve never seen them.

The first mousse I ever used was called DuraMousse from Australia and it was the same as mousse balls. 5 or 6 inch segments. They were a pain to get out when changing tires but worked fine. They actually had different diameters to match tire sizes though. The fact that mousse balls only makes one size should equate to a lower price point. It's a piece of foam for f@#$ sake. @@highlandcycles

you can inject more lube thru the valve stem every couple of rides. Increases the life span of a moose tube by 20hrs easy, haven't tried the balls.
@booger65man Жыл бұрын
I just received mine from you and mounted them up and thought the same thing about leaving big gaps. They’re going to move around in there and you could end up with them all moving to one side or the other leaving large gaps. I did try to order some moose joose off of Amazon and after a couple of days got a weird message saying the order had been canceled too bad so sad and that if I wanted I could try again. Not sure if the vendor screwed up or Amazon screwed up.

You can cut one down easily to just fill the gap. Lucioli is good but just too heavy for me. I don't think you notice it in the slow, hard stuff but at speed I actually really notice it.

I don’t know psi feel. I haven’t run air in a tire in years. I just know that they work great and I can’t get a flat. Also psi is irrelevant because they don’t bounce or deflect like a tire with air.
