I agree, but one thing's been puzzling me since the creation of the franchise........ For some odd reason, whenever Connor cuts off the head of an enemy immortal, he merely absorbs their power/strength. However, when he kills Kane in this movie, and Kurgan in the 1986 original, not only does he absorb their power, but it also picks him right up off the ground. Which only seems to happen, when he makes cuts deep enough for the head to fall off.

@@DrQuagmire1 Kurgan was supposed to be the last other immortal so they were trying to make it spectacular and stand out from the others. Aldo, he was the most powerful so it had to be good. Kane was again supposed to be the the last, plus they needed ti do something to compare with the first movie. In-universe explanation? They were both very powerful and Kan had his quickening plus Nakano's magic.

This was the U.S.A. release of the film. The country where Highlander 2: The Quickening got the *_worst_* critical reception. They were trying to distance themselves from that film by removing the '3' from the title. They were also trying to build this as the last Highlander film to feature Christopher Lambert, and with an additional nod to the distribution company releasing it in theaters in the U.S.A., retitled it as "The Final Dimension". It should've just been called "Highlander 3: The Apology"😂

This film made absolutely no sense. I mean, it wasn't even canon in the highlander story. Regardless of it; I still enjoyed the film

It maintained continuity with the original film while ignoring the disappointment of the 2nd film. Kinda like what has become the trend in Hollywood over the last 20 years of the "re-quel", a sequel that ignores/contradicts/disavows previous installments in the franchise(as was done with Terminator, HalloweeN & Texas Chainsaw Massacre). It was _still_ better than Highlander 2 or Highlander: The Source🤦♂️ P.S. - "Highlander canon"...🤔 😄😆😂🤣😄😆😂🤣😄😆😂🤣😄😆😂🤣
