I'll still be loving watching and sharing your travels... and sometimes, the best way to appreciate what one has is to go in search of other... This was a stoater of a vid showcasing how this wee country can hold its head high. See you next week young uns! YAM xx

Hi guys re your surf board attachment aluminess in the states have brackets that are quite slimline and fold against the side of the van when not in use and take up no more room that this width of your wing mirrors when in use check them out and see if you can get something made in the uk

I remember camping in my tent at the bealach and woke up to a white out. I had to crawl down at 5mph towards Applecross . I passed the gritter who was going up. He must have wondered where I had come from in my wee Peugeot 208.

When I lived on the Black Isle I took many trips up the Bealach Na Ba and took many photos from the summit. This drive always inspired me to do it again and again in all seasons. Just once I went to Applecross. In those days it was photos and a video road trip.

Some magic acts don't need things like rabbits and hats. The show that Scotland puts on is purely magical and has a stage all its own. No better presenters than you two either. I had legit chills from those final scenes. Unreal. I felt a wistfulness in this video too...but stoked for the next journey. And honestly I can't venture a guess as to where the destination is (haven't peeked on your IG, yet! hehe)

When we did the NC500 it started pouring for three straight days when we arrived at Gairloch going anti clockwise and we gave up and headed south. Bealach na Ba is unfinished business and your drone work was spectacular. I am just struggling with the notion of being excited at leaving Scotland. I spend all my time between visits wanting to be back. (last there in May and back in August/September!)
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын
Aw I feel you with the rain 😂 that’s one of the reasons haha we just want dependable weather and some unknown again! Distance always makes the heart grow fonder though and I know we will be desperate to return soon enough 😁

You can hook the surfboard to the roof in the inside maybe

Had thought about that, it would just limit the light we get from the sunroof and also would get water everywhere inside the van 😞

The views are sensational. Question: are the roads you travel dual direction and some one-ways only? In the last part of this video the road seemed not wide enough for 2 vehicles .
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын
