To me, the voices that Kendrick does on this track are intentional and considered -- just like every other little detail about this. Kendrick is not concerned with us liking them. To me, besides that Kendrick likes to switch up his voices and cadence, he's aping Drake who is always doing accents (one of the things he calls him out for), plus, Kendrick's voices match his points and tone. The intro is like him talking calmly and quietly yet still being very disrespectful. Then the next voice (cracking and like a little boy) that you objected to, is like him imitating where he's saying Drake is and then he ramps up from there.

The movie was called the American Dream story about the Jackson 5 Angela Bassett played his mother Terence Howard played one of his brothers I think it was Jermaine. It came out in the early 90s and it was a 2 part series.
