Highlifter alignment tool on YXZ

I used this Highlifter alignment tool kit to help me get the front end nice and straight on a 2020 Yamaha YXZ-1000Rbuild for my son.
UPDATE This video is not showing the correct method. The arms must be at ride hight for correct alignment. Either remove the shocks and hold the arms up or put the car on the ground so the shocks compress.

Thanks for sharing. I took out a tie rod a while back on my YXZ and it was really frustrating trying to get it aligned the old fashion way. After trial and error and taking it for several drives up and down the street I think I got it close enough. This kits would have made it simple.

Just a couple points that may help. You should have the weight on the front end when you do the alignment. Could get a couple metal plates to slide on and set them under the lowest points. Nice video!

I'm happy you chimed in. I did need to make some adjustments after the vehicle was sitting at ride hight.

I just aligned my cannedham for the first time. I picked up some 2inch angle aluminum for it. I also measured from center hub to the radius of the tire (14 inch for a 28 inch tire) and crossmeasured for square like you would for a building. I found even though the alignment looked good it was offset bias to the driver's side. So would have dog legged a bit I think. Anyways worked well👍
