@@sara1coco that's exactly what they did not want to, become slaves of another company. The youngest is a 91' liner... They matured enough to keep doing what they love by themselves. They are not "idols" anymore.

It's just sad for me to see good old Idol groups struggling and playing below their potential like Boyfriend, Teen Top, 2PM, B1A4, BTOB, Infinite (if they ever have a comback) etc-. I think it'd be cool to see them all compete on Kingdom with each other..

@@sara1coco I wrote "idols" for a reason. With that I meant they have different goals. And what happened to most of the groups you mentioned, it's what the kpop industry does. That will happen to ALL kpop groups and no exceptions. After 19 years into this, you see the story repeats again and again.

I didnt know highlight and i came here because I've been watching why not the dancer (because of taemin) but i've really come to like gikwang and it coincided with them having a comeback! I really enjoyed this song and I really appreciate that you can totally tell they're singing live. I'm surprised to see they don't have more views. Are they not that known?

They lack the international recognition, so the yt views are a bit low... In korea, I'd say they're doing fine since they're still charting ok even with the name change (that and they have quite the number of side gigs)

Saying they're still here only because of fans sounds weird to me, even more so when they have so many public individual schedules.

Also, they are the only artist in the company, so they are able to keep comeback bc fans are still buy their albums enough to make profits. That's why I said they are still exist as Highlight bc of fans. A good public recognition sure is help to get a job(probably why Dujun is the most busy member). I'm not saying that Highlight is doing poorly in korea but they are not doing that well either, just so-so.
