I'll be honest I got killed by a letang recently in ranked. It's not that I dont respect dd hydro, it's that I forgot it has hydro given how few times I come up against it where that matters in randoms

I litterary had my last game end in legendary style. Caught 2 asashios in my hydro. One died of torps, the other in fire. That was like in 30 sec. Then half a minute later a poor lightning decided to join the party. So got 3 dd kills in like 2mins 😂 ending with 2.4k xp as a finale celebration 🥳

German battleships (almost all battleships, except *maybe* Massachusetts) do better with a standard battleship build than with a secondary build. The secondaries don't offer enough on Germans to be worth building around unless you value memes higher than effectiveness. Especially in the current meta where pushing too hard with a battleship will get you melted in under 1 minute by HE spammers.

Razgriz01 Kurfurst 128mm secondaries can offer quite some good stuff. It’s literally the best secondary armaments in the game.

I want to say 'thank you', thanks to your video "what techtree ships to grind in 2020", i played the IJN gunboat tree up and played random in a Akizuki with 2200 basexp 2 kills 2 caps Arsonist and the highlight..i did not get hit once ...that never happend before! I now got the Kitakaze and i am having a blast! i was below arvg, 1k to 1.4k base xp was normal and a 40% winrate, now i have 55-80% in the last ships i played... !!!

Akizuki and Kitakaze are absolutely wonderful as gun platform. Harugumo too is not bad, having a 5th turret, but became clumsy in the movements and it eats full BB's AP pen, so sometime is dangerous: in a Kita and Aki you can kite an entire match against average BBs, while the Harugumo could suffer that random AP hit very hard.

This is exactly why I found the German DD line so much fun. I've gotten as far as the Z-23 and the hydro+solid torps+meme 150mm guns is just so nice. I have however heard that further up the tree the german DDs get a bit lackluster compared with the rest.

For me its completely the opposite. Up until the z46 the german dd are unwieldy und unpleasant to play. Then they get a little more agile and their cannons can actually turn.

The only thing that annihilates enemy dds faster is a radar Minotaur that catches 10x DDs sleeping. My record with that is three kills within ~3 minutes of the match starting. People never expect radar Minotaur.

Five dd's is fun. Last season in ranked tier seven I had a game with five dd's one cruised and one BB. I was in my Gneisenau secondary build so let's just say when a team works together and the enemy has a potato cruiser and battleship it's hard to lose

Was easy to get rank 1. Started playing Lightning until I got 4 games in a row with a CV then switched to Cleveland and cruised to rank 1. Plays like this can't happen when you have experienced Cleveland player as an enemy, so take notes. Anyway, really good game for the jr.Salt Overlord (the big one is Jinggles :D ).

In SEA you’ll get CV every match. In queue there’re about 20+ CV 100+- BB 10+- CA/CL and almost no DDs. I’m glade I finished this sprint, horrible.

yes they are much better because of the speed, most engagements in a lo yang the 6.7km range is enough and you can still stealth torp. The long range ones are too slow to hit anything unless you just get lucky.

I have a genuine question and I hope Flamu can pin this so more people can see this and more people get to know about it. The question being, don't people watch Flamus videos and realise how badly they were playing? Don't they see their worthless mistakes? This guy literally blaps all people doesn't matter what ship they were playing by using simple tactics and positioning. Don't people realise that if they can implement these gameplay tactics and stuff in their game then they'll get better too? Goddamn everytime I play randoms it's like my team had tied hands beforehand the match with enemy team and are actually helping them to win. How can people be so potato? I am no unicum no. But even I have the slightest idea of what to do and what not to do in the matches I play. What the hell? Please, somebody answer.
