@@captainbliz3519 Tony has the most catches and receiving yards at the TE position. Tony has 1325 catches which is top 3 all time for WR’s and TE’s. And 15k receiving yards. Kelce is 33 an 500, catches 4,500, and 42 TD’s away from breaking all receiving TE’s records which Tony has. Pace wise it’s possible. But time isn’t on his side and we don’t know how much longer he can this dominant.

As a Chiefs fan, facing the Chargers is the most interesting thing in recent years ( yeah apart from defeating Bills in the playoffs, thats just a tradition now ) Derwin James is a STUD fr. Travis usually has hard time against him but somehow babysits him in the 4th Q.

One play can make tons of difference. Derwin is insanely gifted physically. And Staley is known for his defensive prowess as well. And Chargers had to stop Kelce one way or the other and failed to do that. And Chiefs had no Tyreek or even Juju. Kelce made them look very much subpar.

It's always a little ridiculous calling these 1 on 1 matchups considering the offensive player has the advantage on every single snap. Derwin checked Kelce one step further than allowed and got an instant flag. Kelce is an all time great, don't get me wrong, but he has one of the 5 best offensive play creators in NFL history. He's not exactly doing much special to get open. Derwin is keeping track of 3 different guys and all Kelce has to do is run the route Andy Reid draws up for him. It's why I have so much more respect for defensive backs than receivers. It's an impossible job to do consistently well.

No one on the field is more threatening than Kelce. No Juju and no Hardman or even Kadarius Toney. Kelce is 33 and James is in his physical prime. And Chargers are in the same division and know chiefs offense very well and Staley is known for his defensive prowess. Mentally and in terms of route running Kelce is a real monster. And Kelce is a touch down threat. Chargers have no excuses!
