Only the league is growing. We have Round Glass Punjab joining ISL from next year but we're still not doing good enough at the International/Continental level. For e.g. our U20 Men's team failed to qualify for the ongoing U20 Asia Cup.

Even countries who're maybe equal to us in Football like Vietnam and Indonesia also qualified. Before the season started when I saw the transfers of Jhingan, Roy Krishna and the likes, I put them down as one of the clear favourites for the title this year. So I was shocked when they started the league that poorly. But Simon Grayson has done a fantastic job with this team since the turn of the new year and will be very tough to beat in the final. As a Kerala Blasters fan, while I'm still angry about the way we got knocked out, I have to give credit where credit is due. Bengaluru FC are worthy finalists.
