Hugeeee win tonight there. We were poor first half like a different team in the 2nd. Sheehans pass was sublime but gomes finish matched the pass superb. Massive game against Blackpool next think I'd happily take a point from that with our injuries. Keep going though boys! 14 games to go.

Mendes Gomes is in a league of his own - love it - he’s hungry for it and gets in the right places. As a team we just need to start the game with the right intensity and we’ll be unstoppable - past 5 games including this one we’ve started in the same gradual way and then concede easily after all the possession work - if the team could start with the right intensity , other teams would struggle to get any space to create in the first 20 mins - which in that first 20 mins we seem to get caught easily at the back.

As a Cambridge fan, we expected to lose but I was pleased with the performance ! Never ever EVER a red card and that topped off a terrible refereeing performance !! EDIT : after a number of slow motion reviews after it being pointed out to me, I can indeed see why he got a red card!

@@ashB1102So I have gone through it a number of times now and I have to admit, I can see what you are saying! Its a tad blurry and happens before they are both on the ground, but definitely looks like an elbow. I stand corrected. Wasn't obvious from behind the goal.
