1st Woolfenden poor clearance, Edmundson falls without disrupting Charlton's winger attack & Burns doesn't deal with cross. 2nd Careless Harness lost ball & Walton awarded with an assist to Charlton. 3rd Ball (not sure?) forgets to mark, Woolfenden clueless in 6 yard box (perfect placed cross). 4th Davis lost header but with 4 taller defenders on the pitch they should switch marking duties when dealing with high balls, Walton caught in wrong position, lobbed with a weak shot straight at him, at least when he should be standing but he wasn't (another great cross). Unbelievable double comeback from Charlton. On the other hand Ipswich scored 4 good goals and had other chances. Great strike by Ladapo. John Jules and Edwards could score more.

And, who remembers the 4 - 4 match against Charlton at Portman Road, in December 1990? Not quite as dramatic at the end, but it was a virtual repeat of the one here, as Ipswich were 2 - 0 and 4 - 2 ahead - the last goal (a penalty), coming 3 minutes from time, which in reality, obviously would've been in added on time. I see, the whole game was uploaded to KZbin in early 2022.

Yes the events is extra time were crazy and it certainly felt like a loss but let’s not forget how things were last time we visited Charlton. We’ve come a long way since then. Interested to see how that ball got deflected from the TJJ shot🤔 but we have to accept the officials are poor in this league and kill games off when we’re on top. Wonder how hard Carlton will look at their CCTV to find the idiot with the whistle? Surprised there’s not a lot being made of that, I bet the Charlton fans would be moaning if they had to play a game behind closed doors because of it.
