Why does everyone hate on MLS..? If you obviously don't care then why hate? We know we don't have the best league or best players but it's growing and getting better. Also it's not easy for some of us to watch BPL so we like watching MLS to at least get some more football on the weekend.

As an American, I don't care if it's not the best league in the world. It's my domestic league, and it's actually pretty fun to watch if you give it a chance. Most people who say MLS sucks probably haven't watched it before. They just assume it's bad because it's American.

We played a little sloppy today, which is why we lost leg 2, but I knew if we scored that one away goal we would put the game away. Tough red card to miller but no one can argue that challenge. I want NE to go through. We have better games against them than Columbus.

JoshGabs I don't even watch the full games because the games are so sloppy. I love to see matches where the ball moves fluidly and is kept on the ground. Usually when I watch the games all I see is a ton of clearances and fouls. It slows down the game and is irritating to watch. It's hard to watch these games after watching a BPL match.

TheCappuccino I've watched a ton of BPL games that were snoozefests. Every league has its stinkers. Yes the quality and skill in first touches may not be as good as other clubs, but it doesn't mean it's bad. I'm American and the Red Bulls are my local club. I choose to support my local team instead of being a bandwagoner and claim to be a die-hard Man United/Man City/Arsenal, etc fan. Point is, I feel more connected supporting my local club than supporting some team 6,000 miles away.

There`s not a club anywhere that doesn`t play a few stinkers once in a while. The level of US soccer is progressing and that`s all you can ask for I think. Sure, it`s not on the level of the top European leagues yet, but it`ll get there quickly if soccer takes off properly in the USA and the money gets bigger. Already having Henry play many seasons in the MLS when he was a dominant player in England for a decade tells you that this is the case. There`s just no way a player like him would ever have set foot on an MLS arena 20 years ago.
