@Father Strength I watch fights without commentary, then I review them with it. Look, I'm probably a bit older than most people who comment here, but I've always held the view that a fighter has proven nothing, till he's been hurt badly during a fight. That's when a fighter's character is revealed. Some fighters pass the test, Tim Bradley, Andre Ward, others fail (Camacho Jr.).

Linares had the same thought process as Loma vs Lopez. They were waiting for openings in the first half because the young guys are too sharp. Then they open up at the end but it’s too little too late. It’s funny because you would think the younger guys would have the advantage in the later rounds but they don’t know how to pace themselves fully. Beautiful fight. Haney's movement transitioning from outside too inside while avoiding punches is sick. The uppercut on the inside was insane. Linares's fast combinations can be tricky and blinding but Devin answered back and lands the most swiftest fights between the guard.

Dev needed that work. Great learning xperience from Linares hand speed and skill set. He needs to focus on his defense and movement concerning in and out. Don't be a sitting duck after you get off, especially fighting an opponent with hand speed.
