I have nothing against women's football whatsoever, I think it's amazing the rapid rate that it's growing and I fully support it BUT you can't hide from the fact that the standard of Women's football is absolute dog shit at the moment unfortunately! .... Scores like this one just wouldn't happen in Men's football, even if you look at the Euros with England beating Norway 8-0 that would NEVER happen in the Men's Euros but hopefully it'll improve in the next few years .... But I must also quickly add that the Enfield Town goalkeeper here is absolutely dreadful, she's the worst goalkeeper I have EVER seen in my life I could have done better than her! 🤦‍♀️🙈

Enfield Town Ladies play three tiers lower than WH. and as is seen in the men's game fitness levels between those of full professionals against those who play part-time is always going to tell. Yes, it is going to take time for the standards to raise in women's football, at all levels and internationally too, but that will only come about through continued investment in coaching and allowing players to develop and that has to be done across all nations not just a select few who will always have the finances, facilities, fitness, etc. of the teams that are able to qualify for the World Cup and the various continental competitions.

The mens game has nothing to do with the womens game so why are you even comparing it? West Ham play Tier 1, Enfield Town play in Tier 5. The gaps between the tiers in Womens football are NOTHING like the mens game. Which of the 3 keepers that played was “absolutely dreadful” - or did you not even notice that there were 3 keepers? Were you at the game? Or did you just give us the benefit of your very ill informed opinion based on 10 mins of highlights? The keeper in the first half saved a barrage of efforts from West Ham - she was outstanding. And you come on here claiming you could do better?!? Womens football is certainly better off without your views and opinions on something that you “support”. It has absolutely zero need of your “support”

@@rich9371 People don't criticize other women's sports and there is good reason why women's football is compared to the men's game. Women's football would be far more watchable if played on 3/4-size pitches with smaller goals, since full-size pitches and goals were developed with the pace and size of men in mind. And it shows.

@@ribzed It's hardly an 'opinion' when it's obvious to virtually every football fan, male or female, that I've discussed the issue with over many years. That's a problem for people who want the women's game to develop further.
