Hurricanes really trained hard for this game. Saw them on the sports news really sweating it out while training in a heated room to get acclimatised to the expected conditions. But the commentator said it was a cooler evening than normal.

The drua are impatient when they have the ball. Everyone wants to score a try & players are going alone into contact especially the forwards. They’ve done well in some areas but, they really have to learn from their mistakes and not rely on their home crowd. Some of the players in the Drua really need to look at themselves after tonight’s game because the way they played is not super rugby standards especially droasese and momo. Anyways, congrats Hurricanes🙌🏻 you’ve showed the drua how important working together as a team will bring victory. Hurricanes for Super Rugby Title 2024😮‍💨❤️

Drua doesn’t have the versatile explosive wingers we used to before, just fast guys. But we got 19 year old Simeli Tuiteci in the production line, might see him next season

Hurricanes did nothing fancy. They played clean solid and bloody 80minutes of hardcore defence esp. the Drua were too predictable in attack. I was never impressed with Coach Byrnes from the beginning and can’t believe he’s the new Flying Fijians coach

Drua lacked rugby IQ. They knew it was a 13 v 15 and all they did was run straight at the Canes instead of getting the ball wide and create panic refence for rhe Canes! That Drua scrum could've led to a try, if they went for a push over with 2 Canes forwards in the bin. Instead number 8 picked the ball and hooed for an individual try!

The Hurricanes had 2 fowards yellow carded in the final 15 Mins and We get a Penalty....One with a significantly higher IQ than 10 would call for a Lineout and use this 2 player advantage, Right? Nope....Lets fucking kick for 3 Points. Watching this from the Stadium and seeing the other supporters cheer on this decision made me realize we are still gonna be stuck in the Mediocre section and this is dissapointing that we lost this match🤯🧠👏

Drua really just play "hope for a fluke" rugby style. Calling it "unstructured" is just a polite way of describing their style of play. How can these guys be professionals and still be encouraged to play this style of rugby. Get them in the classroom and teach them how to play strategic rugby. We are not playing in the 1980s anymore. The only time they actually used their brain and played a maul from the lineout, they scored. Masi was outstanding as usual. Forwards are weak in clearing rucks, opposition players dont fear the cleanouts at the ruck. #8 doesnt use his brain, literally thinks he is a one man army and literally gets smashed by the opposition, same for #2 who isolates himself and then drops the ball, dont need those kind of players in the team. Momo is useless on attack and plays dirty on defense, he should only play skipper cup for his province and no further. There is very little team work effort in this team. Most of them time they are just guessing what they are suppose to do on the field. No one has ever won men's Super Rugby playing unstructured rugby.

Bro the Drua did play structure and patterns it just “didn’t work”, it got shut down big time, Drua were well beaten in this game, we could go into details in breaking the game down and start picking on individuals, but the canes were just too good and quick to identify the threats and neutralised it real early, pretty much suffocated druas chances of moving forward

Few observations I noticed in the game. 1) Drua lacks leadership 2) Drua players to improve their mental fitness 3) 15 & 11 for Drua needs to be drop in the next game 4) Looks like Drua misses the service of Lomani and Ravula for directions 5) Drua needs to play smart and creative rugby 6) Canes will not win the comp this year with too many penalties and foul play. 7) Ref and the officials are still not.consstent
