Without Animals then the circus would be pretty boring and i am about to run a circus WITH animals called the Infinite Circus but dont get mad at me for running an animal circus in the Infinite Circus the animals will not be real which is good news to you PETA fans the animals at that circus will actually be Real looking Friendly kind Animatronic Animals so when people comment at the infinite circus videos there better not be sayings like "THIS IS CRUELTY" or "THIS IS ABUSE" or "EXTINCT THE INFINITE CIRCUS!!" It will be wonderful

I know Circus elephant performance before May 1, 2016. I watch Ringling Bros Circus when circus elephant performance last day on May 1, 2016 before circus elephant retire from circus and move to Ringling Bros elephant center in Central Florida.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus staff seriously needs to put the anime & manga genre versions (along with the harem, magical girl, mecha, yaoi, and yuri versions) of extreme sports (along with skydiving, BMX racing, freestyle BMX, aggressive inline skating, freestyle slalom skating, and vert skating) in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus buildings ONLY from Walt Disney parks and resorts if the circus staff just created the circus buildings ONLY from Walt Disney parks and resorts.

HA HA HAH. I'm 77 years old. I was at a 3 rang circus back in 19 and 57 in Kankakee, IL. The middle rang had a Clown being pulled in circles on his stomach while holding a rope attached to a horse's saddle horn. The right rang had a Lion tamer in it with 5-6 lions. Well, that Clown looked like a worm on a hook to the biggest male Lion. He busted outta the little wire cage they had around that right rang and pounced on the Clown like a Shark to Chum. HO HO. I'm 77 years old and will NEVER get that image outta my rotting mind. HA HA HAH.

I see no abuse here, actually, by the way the tigers interact with the performers, you can tell there is trust there. Now, back years ago there probably was issues of animal cruelty. I just find it funny that everyone is okay with people being fired out of canons or risking their lives doing trapeze acts or running on that giant wheel, yet oh man an animal getting conditioned to perform is sooooooo much worse. A lot of these acts keep the animals in shape as well, they are also fun for them, and they also get treats. Hey, don't swat your pet for doing something wrong, that's abuse. "Tigers don't like fire" some house cats hate water, it's all about conditioning them.

Animals haven't been born to be "conditioned " by humans, nor to entertain them nor to serve them. They are not born to belong to a human owner. Should be in the wild with individuals of their own species in their natural environment listening to NATURE'S sounds. Confine these brutal freaky shows to humans only.

Celina Fernández Exactly. I agree entirely. How would you like it if you were taken from your home to a secret area were they used weapons to make you submissive to your demands, only to be used for entertainment or something? Wild animals do NOT want to be held captive, even though they may seem to have bonds with some, they long for their home, living as normal animals in the wild. And if not in the wild because it's disappearing thanks to us, once again, then in a true, non-lying, sanctuary where they can still roam free and live the NATURAL life. I swear, people will be the cause of death of all animals.

Those animals aren't safe. Do you know how they get those elephants to be trained and do their 'awesome' tricks? Bullhooks. They use sharp hooks to stab the elephant when they're doing the wrong thing.

I have to say, although the footage I've seen hasn't turned me vegan, it does seem very awful and disturbing. There's a better way for cows and pigs and chickens to live.

I don't know if it's fair to jump to animal abuse straight away. We have no idea how they treat their animals when they're not on the stage. I think that we just assume that being a circus all the old negative connotations must be true, when in this day and age I doubt the authorities would let animal cruelty happen in such a public show. Is this any worse than the animals doing shows at the theme parks? Or the whales being made to perform amid bright lights, very loud music and fireworks at Seaworld? Who can judge from a 3 minute KZbin clip.

Camilla Johansson I can guarantee you these animals were in no way abused. I worked in an animal show, and a few coworkers had worked/we're acquaintances with workers in this very circus. And we all were animal rights supporters/activists. Here's an example: Did you know the elephant enclosure was mostly just an area marked off with sticks and twine? The elephants stayed in because they knew that was their exclusive area, unless they went to the edge or out of it people would not bother them and no person would enter that area. And they had no fear of going to the edge and reaching over to explore people's pockets to see if they had treats. If they wanted to leave the elephants were aware they were free to leave, and sometimes did when work was calm. If an animal, any animal, was not cooperating or did not feel like performing that day, they simply did not go on stage. No punishment apart from less extra treats after a performance. The animal's health came first, they had daily checkups before and after performances, if there was any sign of illness or discomfort it was treated immediately. The handlers lives revolved around their animals, they were treated with love, respect, and were more a part of the family than most pets are. This is so disgusting. This show would’ve been just as incredible without these poor animals, and would’ve actually been enjoyable.
