Me and my family went last night and the wife and kids have never been to an MLS match. I told them how exciting it was and they loved it. I remember attending the inaugural game at BBVA for the stadium opening against DC United. The seats have since faded but the passion of the fans and El Battalion has not!!!! Last night was yellow card central and the ref was just happy handing them out. Great win playing with one down! Always fun going to watch the guys in orange!

The commitment from the Dynamo after going down to 10 men is commendable. And it was great to see the boys play with some flair throughout. You could see what this result meant to them with their post-game celebrations with the fans.

It's a shame that a big and traditional team like Houston Dynamo - MLS level reference, of course - doesn't have supporters. It's a shame that the reigning champion NYCFC doesn't have a stadium, doesn't have the support of NY people and is mistreat by the yankees. Dallas is a shame, and Miami... i don't think soccer will be succeed in America, sadly.

I’m from Houston and the early years of the dynamo, the stadium was packed but then there was a big slump and people stopped caring except for a devoted few. Sadly, houston is a football town and will always support the Texans no matter how terrible they’ve been historically. Same with the Astros, they were the worst team in baseball and no one would go and I would enjoy going to games for $10 now they’re successful and all of a sudden everyone is a fan and sell out almost every game. The city only cares about winners
