I'm a big supporter of the womens rugby league competitions but a result such as this does nothing for the development of the game. The disparity between the two teams in skill level and development is more than obvious and such a mismatch does not reflect well on the games administrators. Here in Australia the establishment of the womens game has followed a very successful formula with increase in team numbers each season only occurring when adequate resources in players etc are confirmed and not before. As a consequence we enjoy a high level competitive competition which is going from strength to strength. I would suggest any of the ten teams would be of a standard equal to or better than the Wigan Warriors. The Huddersfield Giants have been seriously let down by the games powerbrokers and they stand condemned for treating the girls with much disrespect.
