Can’t wait to be next week for that Leinster - Toulouse in Dublin. Leinster seems the stronger side but Toulouse has the ability to raise their level to the opponent’s one and we know how magic their game can be. Munster did so well with Dupont, concentrating a lot of effort around the rucks not to leave any space. Toulouse should have played more often on the wings, there were inevitably spaces. Can’t see Sale beating Racing tomorrow. Same configuration as last year : Leinster against the French. Top 14 is the most competitive championship, especially this year, and it seems that French squads benefit from it. Works also for challenge cup as there will very likely be 2 French teams, both receiving home, in the semi’s against tough English teams. [Look forward to seeing Toulon - Saracens especially]

I don't see what kind of world we can win in Dublin... We have the weakest team for 3 years (we are missing 1 quality winger, a good scrum half to replace Dupont and 1 centre), I have rarely seen the players so tired because of the length of the championship and the 6 Nations Tournament games... If the game had been in Toulouse we could have got away with it, but as usual we have to travel for the 1/4, 1/2 etc, and that is very tiring. Unfortunately the length of our championship and the fact that the federation is messing around with the calendar means that playing on both sides is a miracle. Maybe next year...

Leinster reminds me of our own Sharks. The most national players but other regional teams still beat them. Their coaching is below average. Munster almost beat Toulouse with good players, great coach and excellent synergy. Leinster overrated.

Say what you like. Ashton had been all in all a quality winger for more years than wingers usually last. Good service from the distributor, working hard without the ball and shouting like fk. Otherwise, a winger doesn't get the bloody ball...ever.... Chris works hard off the ball, its not the tries he gets, its the work rate and run lines that come to nothing because you don't get the pass to you 9/10 of the time. But a good winger keeps running the lines, keeps calling , keeps trying to be in the right place at the rights time and sometimes someone effing passes the ball to you.

Makes Leinster achievements all the more amazing when they lose their very best 18 -20 first team players to Country training camps before internationals in that key end Nov to March window. There are still European matches and URC matches to play then. Leinster have senior squad of about 45 and academy squad of 30. Of those players probably 5 are not true blue Leinster born and raised.

Yeah the ref was a blatant cheat but we beat ourselves today with to many mistakes and naivety going for the corner with all our penalties rather than kicking for the posts we spent a lot of time in their 22 and had nothing to show for it. Wasn’t to be for us but on another week we win that game which I think shows just how far we’ve come

This what happens when the irish provenance can rest all there big stars and the english teams have a smaller budget and squad to play with plus the referee was shocking which doesn't help. The one part that made me laugh was the leinster replacement tight head was chasing his feet and was fully laying down on the floor and the referee gave them a scrum penalty which is hard to figure out

How many players on that team were from the East Midlands? Nadolo etc are not imports? You also have a larger budget its just that Irish players take pride in playing for their provinces as opposed to how your teams are set up. You were actually lucky with Reynal and us going in cold or it could have been 50+.

Back to the drawing board? This Leinster side would beat any team in this form, not only is their budget far bigger but they have been playing together both with Leinster and Ireland for years. I would be surprised if Leicester struggle as they are bringing in very good replacements with the likes of Pollard and Anthony Watson. Your argument is somewhat floored as every team in the premiership is losing key players as the cap is reduced to 5 million; but of course this doesn’t go through your head when you type.
