this new formation is working very well. salah extermelly good passing nunez is doing well he is starting to fit in the liverpool team. luis diaz dribbling is at a whole another level. Trent alexarnold's free kick was out of this world! what a game by liverpool!!!❤

Finally the new formation 4-2-3-1 we've been screaming about for ages has made a difference, at least for this game! It's a good start, and there is a lot to be done still.

Good game. We had a glimpse of the Liverpool we expect; positive mindset, tirelessly attacking, scoring, keeping a clean sheet and winning. Regardless of how significant a test Rangers were, this result is quite a confidence booster. One serious concern though, although we played all our forwards with four of them fielded together for most of the game, and despite our domination, none of them, nor anyone else, could score from open play.

I think Henderson did better in that CM position; more pace and vitality in the middle than when Fabinho plays, I would love to see him playing that role more often.

My one wish is that we get more clinical because we had so many open play chances and corners because this could have been 4-0. Nunez got into some dangerous positions if he could just work on finishing he'll be great. The constant switching between the for was amazing. Also the formation allowing us to have almost like a 3 at the back at times was great. Maybe this formation change should have happened earlier.

nunez used to be really good at shooting so I guess thats just lack of confidence but when he starts scoring he hopefully wont stop. I feel like the pressure on him starts to fade so he can finally enjoy himself more and start shining
