Red Card? What a poor display of referee situation, but VAR team is probably a candidate to the "worst of 2021" they can see on slow motion and as many times as required, shambolic!!. Referee and VAR both changed the game, bad form. Even in the Macarthur goal situation, you could see a tackle from behind (3:17) where it doesn't touch the ball but it is given a game on with clear advantage to the offender generating a transition resulting in goal... that should've been a case for VAR. We usually criticise the players, this time red card for referee, oh and VAR? you should be benched.... for a while.

it was terrible from the refs and VAR. However, 3:17 is 100% not a foul

@@danielhupje2168 You may be right, but I didn't say it was, I said it didn't touch the ball on the tackle but it is a contrast to the red card VAR review. The point I'm trying to get is, we need better referees to get a better game. If we talk about the referees, it wasn't a good game.

Wellington Phoenix is great but A-League needs more teams and one based in Canberra would be good and they should have team in Tasmania, Northern Territory and more based in Queensland.

@@jonasdickenson7995 we shouldnt be getting rid of any teams. the aleague needs to expand and breaking away from fa is really good for that. now we just need to keep introducing new teams, expanding the league and making more young aussie talent
