So Australia with 1/10th USA's population can have a good soccer league using domestic players, why isn't the US able to do this? Instead we're stuck with retirement joke league MLS that's run like a mafia.

Just look at the country and the state its in, the most irresponsible people in the world, ran by trump, acting like coronavirus isn't even a thing, getting 300k cases a day, I don't think Americans realise that outside of the US everyone sees the MLS as the biggest joke, retirement league, the A-League is terrible aswell, at least we're responsible people and can realise that coronavirus is real

@@m63t36 Americans are typically ignorant, as if you see, many international sport leagues in this country is called "World Tour". This fomented their future knowledge. Joe Biden will have a hard time to deal with it.

As an Aussie and A-league fan I can tell you the MLS is lightyears ahead of the A-league in terms of governance, media exposure, fan support, major investment and potential growth. The standard of play and quality of imported players are much higher in the MLS. The MLS already has 27 fully professional sides with more on the way in 2023, it's taken Football Federation Australia 15 years and 3 folded clubs just to get to 12, with 2 new expansion teams that no one cares about, in regions no one wanted. FIFA themselves had to threaten to intervene in order for the FFA to let the A-league be run indepently. Your right that the closed cartel MLS system is holding football back in the US, and without Promotion-Relegation the US we'll never reach the same level as Spain, France, England, Germany, but compared to the A-league the MLS is doing great
