As a Canadian and Canada fan I'm proud of the boys and particularly the depth they showed this tournament. A 2-1 loss against Mexico is nothing to be ashamed about. Mexico are a very strong side. The refs went in with the intention of giving as many set plays to Mexico as possible. That game could have gone either way. League of their own LMAO. If you think that you’re a fool and know nothing of the sport. Canada has closed the gap and it was there for everyone to see even with their best players missing. They felt robbed. 2 penalties, constant fouls called on Canada from what looked like a simple defensive play at times, 9 minutes extra added on the clock. Mexico did their job and they won well with that goal but I'm sure the Canadians felt cheated to a point.

The first penalty was a push from the side and the defender slid and hit the attacker without touching the ball(clear penalty) the 2nd penalty was a push in the back which was a foul. Mexican fans and players thought it was a free kick until VAR showed it was inside the 16th. It sucks but the penalties were penalties
