Highlights: MNUFC vs. NYCFC

On a historic day for Minnesota United and soccer in Minnesota, the Loons hosted New York City FC for the Inaugural Home Opener of Allianz Field in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. Looking to rebound from a disappointing start to the season, NYCFC came out fired up, while Minnesota United brought the energy in the hopes of earning a win for their fans in this first game at their new home. Despite a thrilling contest with goals on both sides, the game would end in a 3-3 draw and a point for each side.

George Weah ever since i first started following minnesota i said that shuttleworth was good enough to go places, but mls teams seem to think if the player is a big name he deserves to be first on the team sheet mannone should be dropped ASAP because he doesn’t deserve to be playing over shuttleworth

Miguel Gonzalez many clubs have opening games for stadiums and not get the result they want. Also the fact that without the own goal or the ‘60 goal called back we could’ve easily lost. Anyone who went can say that it was fun, The atmosphere was great.
