@@ericlevy4155 defense sucks. It's a common weakness of MLS teams because of salary cap. Teams prioritize offense over defense.

@@ericlevy4155 yeah bro MLS has the disadvantage of having a college draft. You can’t have that in football/soccer if you want the level to be high like it is in Europe. Not trying to diminish the difficulty of making it to MLS. So I’m effect the defense might seem easier to get through. Not easy. But goals to me are the orgasms of the game.

@@tracker4854 I wouldn't go that far. The college draft is still a good mecahnism to give college kids a shot on teams. They're basically irrelevant anyways because the kids coming out of MLS teams academies are miles better and are going to Europe like hotcakes. MLS can still keep the draft and become a top 5-10 league.

@@ryanfebrianto8973 they can't purchase any land, it needs to be approved by the representative of the communities to be approved and CFG is too lazy to hire the right lobbyist to get it done. The current Mayor is in favor of opening up a stadium, that's the only real new thing in the city.

And I think, City Group will put big cash on NYC FC if the league were reaching at least close to MLB in terms the popularity and financially. Then, do you think there was enough space to build a new stadium in NYC? I mean, Jets and Giants ( named themselves as teams from New York) played in MetLife in NJ. Surely NJ is not NY, right?

@@ryanfebrianto8973 Giants and Jets did not name themselves after New York while being in New Jersey. Both Giants and Jets played in New York for years and are New York teams that were forced to relocate due to NYC politics and their stance on a NFL stadium (huge reason to why MetroStars, now Red Bulls never bothered in New York and always played in New Jersey). NYCFC have been making a bunch of new partnerships with companies that work on building things, construction companies, water companies, etc. On top of the fact they took out a huge debt last year to have even more money to build a stadium. Location, community approval and city approval is basically all that is missing.

And the Giants are a joke now so there’s no excuse for people in NY to fill a NYCFC game since they actaully won something recently.
