May some form of bias lahat ng media outlets kahit saan naman. Marami din misleading headlines (clickbait youtube titles) kaya kelangan mo talaga basahin buong article. Tulad nung INC issue noon, nagalit mga inc sa abs dahil binabalita nila ung mga issue nila noon. Dun nagstart ung bias daw abs. Ngayon kay duterte naman, may nababasa din naman akong fair na mga balita na kung sa dds bloggers ka makikinig talagang bias. Bias din ung mga nakikinig dahil gusto lang nila marinig kung ano gusto nila marinig. Kapag di maganda para sakanila, bias na kagad.

Pwede nman nila parusahan ang ABS-CBN kyng me na lanag na batas. Ang hindi pag bigay ng prangkisa, ang pinarusahan mo yung maliliit na tao na nawalan ng kabuhayan. Marami ang na hinto sa pag aaral sa biglaang pag sara ng network at meron doon, mahihinto na ng tuluyan sa pag aaral. Makaka tulong ba yon sa pag unlad ng bansa. Yung tax na nawala sa gobyerno, kasuhan nila sa bawat pag labag sa batas, pag fine nila, tapos sasabihin nila, walang budget. Mas gugustohin nilang mangutang. Sino ba talaga ang bias sa kanila na dapat uunahin mo kapakanan ng bansa lalo pa kapag naninilbihan ka sa bansa.

Bias, pero just note na wala namang "news" channels or media networks na hindi talaga bias e. Even US networks has biases, etc. GMA, TV5, etc. News Media is no longer enforcing the "rule" of saying the truth without any sort of bias. pero tao tayu e, in certain topics we become biased e.

Another hot take, based sa page sa baba, di na umalma si Defensor dito kasi Zoe TV is under Villanueva which is a big partner and supporter of Duterte, to which they have the say on some of the things that ABS can broadcast in their network. Also, kaya di na umalma si Defensor dito para di na sila patamaan ng masa na supporters ng ABS CBN. Just a theory, no facts yet, just speculation lang, pero a lot of clues point to that idea e, like how lumabas yun closed meetings ni Defensor kaya tinamaan ang PR nya, then ang daming mga galit lalo sa admin dahil sa pagpapasara. So this way they have a bit of control on most of the things that ABS can broadcast, at the same time tataas ang ratings ng ZOE in this timeslot compared sa ibang channels, at which time or point that after the end of each episodes (if tutok kayu on how netwwork programs sa pinas and US and how it works) e may mga magtutune in sa next episodes, also called "lead-ins". FYI personal opinion, this is somewhat ok, somewhat no. This could work for radio stations kasi that is old tech and di naman na masyado relevant yun, as for TV, mejo unfair. kasi the franchise ng TV networks e binigay sa network for their use. Buti sana kung ang bibigyan ng block time e small tv show, indie, or something of the like, but something as big as ABS na bibigyan ng ganitong privilege is somewhat unfair ha. So giving them another chance to be on free TV wherein kinancel mo nga franchise nila to air sa free TV pero ngayun nakahanap ng loophole ok lang, is like saying that ah, wala na, loophole yan e. FOr me its a bad look sa mga mambabatas. Yes I know its the limitation of the current laws in place, na dapat makita yan kasi logically speaking pointless somewhat ang pagblock mo ng pagbigay ng franchise to free airwaves when ang pwede lang pala nila gawin is to partner with other companies. Now, what;s stopping them from getting blocks from GMA? TV5? and other local networks? kumabga unti unti in every local channel per hour in a day may block channel sila? E di para ding binigyan sila ng franchise. almost the same as the time na binlock mo sila in getting a 23 hour block. Di ba? Or say open sila ng subsidiary under a different name (like ginagawa ng Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus phones) and then using the same tech somewhat flooding the market with nrealy the same products? DI ba?
