Yup. Earlier today in an interview he said he has a huge interest in playing in Italy in the SuperLega/SerieA as soon as possible. He wants to improve his skills more by playing against stronger players to prepare for the Paris Olympics. Since the next Olympics is in 3 years, he's thinking about doing it while enrolled in college. He's already mentioned this plan to his college coach. This is only in the planning phase and nothing is set in stone yet but his desire to play there is huge.

Takahashi replaced Yanagida and I can see why. Takahashi's attacks are more effective and cannot easily be blocked. Yanagida's attack can be predictable, though he has ace scores more.

So excited for japan team, they become stronger. However, their middle is very weak, they cant block the western. They need to figure out. I wonder when ishikawa get older maybe can become middle blocker, because his blocking skill is far beyond the middle blocker of japan team right now and the japan team can fix their blocking problem and can have powerful spike as well. Nishida for opposite, Otsuka and Ran outside hitter. Just my imagination, but i really excited for japan team future, look so bright🔆

I know that a good blocking is a matter of timing but don't forget that Asians are way shorter than western players. They have a huge disadvantage at the net, so yeah their blocking will not be as effective as if they were 10 cm taller.
