If you watched Pato’s last five or so games, he really slacked off. His last decent game came in a penalty goal, and he just messed up more and more. I’m happy he’s done, because now Orlando can utilize their better assets.

So happy as an Orlando fan! Our commentator really fooled us on that goal; he said it was a clear offside and I believed him. No one at home knew Kara didn’t touch that ball without replay. Fun Fact for fans of both sides: Seattle had a 128 game unbeaten streak when leading by at least two goals heading into this season. They’ve now lost three consecutive games while leading, and twice this season when leading by 2. Once again, all Orlando needed was that 90th minute and on. Three consecutive extra time winning goals, all three being by substitutes. Bravo, Orlando. Bravo.

I'd disagree about the consistent goals. They seem to score a lot or none. From that perspective, it's sad they scored multiple goals but lost. I agree wholeheartedly about changes, but I get yelled at here on YT for suggesting it. What do you have to lose at this point if what they are doing isn't working? The commentators have finally started to bring it up also - they usually steer clear. Have you noticed how when they started losing that Brian Schmetzer gets ticked off if they ask him good questions in that regard? Off season should be interesting... I believe some of the current players would do better in different positions, but won't go into detail here - I'll just draw ire from people who don't even know who's on the roster anyway.

Seattle has always struggled when our defensive midfielder is out...struggled REALLY bad. I don't have the energy to look it up right now but if you look at the Sounders record with and without their starting defensive midfielder, it's a staggering difference. Remember back when the Sounders could NOT win a game if Ozzie Alonso didn't play. You always miss starters but that position is a lynchpin position for the Sounders.

I don't know anything about Orlando's attendance numbers...But I don't think the fact that it's a Wednesday game or that they have the Open Cup final a week away is really a big factor here. I think it has more to do with the 2+ hour rain delay. I think people in any city are going to lose interest sitting around for hours waiting for the rain to stop.
