Pens have no consistency and are not as focused and determined as when they are led by Crosby. Too much media hype about MVP and coach of the year as well. They win one game and already think they're in the next round. Pens still have a lot to improve. Let's not forget the last 2 wins were by 1 goal margins and both times after blowing 2-0 leads. Focus used to be on necessary improvements, no matter if they won or lost. Theses days they're tapping themselves on the shoulder too much.

As a Ranger fan, I love the Pens because I hate the Flyers and a Pens victory makes Flyer fans mad. If Crosby were at least healthy, the Pens wouldn’t have suffered the collapse of blowing a 3-1 series lead to lose, 4-3. If my Rangers had won games 1 and 4 against the Caps and game 6 as well, the Sabres had scored the overtime goal in game 6 against the Flyers and the Pens had won game 6 against the Bolts or even if the Bolts had won, which they did, my Rangers would’ve lost the 2nd round in 5 games to the Bruins. What I can say is that if this had happened and the Pens had won game 6 in Tampa Bay, the Pens would’ve lost to the Sabres in 7 games after having series leads of 2-0 and 3-2, as Ryan Miller would’ve shut the Pens out in game 6, 2-0 and game 7, 5-0. Then, the Bruins would’ve swept the Sabres in a matchup of USA-born Olympian Vezina trophy winners and then the Bruins would’ve done exactly what they ended up doing, which is win the Cup against the Canucks.

Now lets be realistic here, did you all really think we were gonna win? The Pens never clinch series' at home, we should all know this by now haha :P We'll get them back in Tampa.

@AGreatDayForHockey87 I agree, that for practical matters it doesn't make a difference whether you lose by 1 goal or by 6. However, the people who pay for the whole show are the fans and it is totally unprofessional to not show up and let yourself go like this in front of your home crowd, playoffs or not. Any team can have a bad day. The Pens had theirs in game 2 already. Yesterday was not a bad day, it was a complete system breakdown. No excuses. Hopefully they won't have to pay for it dearly.

Kinda painful to watch. Oh well. Hopefully a fire under them for the next and last game. :)
