Can someone explain how Toronto has had a goalkeeper problem for four seasons now but have stuck with Bono and Westberg? If they want to buy players from Italy like they’ve been doing, Gianluca Saro of Cremonense is cheap, a backup at a Serie A team, and promising. Ship one of these keepers overseas, develop Kevin Silva, and keep EITHER Bono or Westberg, Silva, and Saro on for promise.

Nooooo! how does this League grow if we keep allowing its best players to leave? I get it you don't want to hold back someone career or take away opportunities. I just don't see how this League (MLS) can grow if continues to be a revolving door of talent. we need some staying power.

@@PR3M3 idk the MLS just isnt that good yet, and the defending is horrendous... And its probably never gonna reach the level of the top 5. That's just how football is unfortunately. Bigger contracts and tougher teams, also the champions and europa leagues are here. If these players are looking to raise the bar, they will go to Europe to play in tougher competitions

Nah. They still lost the Supporter's Shield because LAFC has more wins. LA has 21 wins to Philly's 19. How many matches you win is the first tiebreaker criteria, not goal difference, which is a shame.

@@andrewha5059 Seems like wins alone is a dumb tie breaker. Wins plus draws (positive results) should be the stat that decides it. Add to that a +46 goal diff??? Philly was the best team in the reg season.

Personally, I think goal difference should have been the main tiebreaker, like in European leagues. And right now, it seems like the Union were so close yet so far this season. Lost Supporters' Shield by 1 win while Gazdag lost the Golden Boot race by a goal :(

@@andrewha5059 Weaker against stronger opponents? huh? we lost 2 games to playoff teams FC Cincinnati and FC Dallas are the only teams that beat us that made it to the playoffs. Record against playoffs teams is 7-8-2
