The PGA TOUR heads to Silvis, Illinois this week for the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run. The John Deere Classic has had some fantastic finishes in recent years, with five of the last 11 champions being first-time winners on the TOUR. J.T. Poston returns this week and will attempt to successfully defend his title from 2022. Poston has finished with three top-10’s this season but hasn’t managed to turn these performances into a victory yet. An in-form Denny McCarthy will also be teeing it up this week after finishing T6 last year. He’s finished P2-T20-T7 in his last three starts and has nine top-20s in his last 15 events. Adam Hadwin will be in the Quad Cities after losing out to Rickie Fowler and Collin Morikawa last week in the playoff at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. His T12 finish at the RBC Canadian Open a month ago paired with his performance last week will give him confidence heading to Illinois. Emiliano Grillo, Chris Kirk and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson will also be shooting for top spot this week at TPC Deere Run.

They’re try to hard to be cool, what’s with the music out of no where, so dumb the pga has an identity and it’s in no way “cool”. Tiger was the coolest thing to happen to golf and he was only cool cuz he’s black and he had at least some swagger but if he was white he be just another no personality lame-o. He was so good that’s all he needed to be considered cool, but he really is boring too. Just listen to him talk

@@pushtostart1377 The crowds are EMPTY.. al the good players (competition wise) are on LIV. Thats why these courses are setup so easy. All the super good ppl are gone and they have to set the courses up easier now. PGA has gone downhill MAJORLY.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@khemheru1439o Scheffler, Rahm, Mcilroy, Hovland, Cantlay, Schauffele, and many other high ranked players aren’t “super good” by your standards. The pga tour has always had easier and harder courses. The set ups aren’t any easier this year. The same can be said with the fields. Some are stronger and some are weaker. That’s what happens when there’s an event almost every week of the year. Liv has much less players and events, with every player playing in every event. Cam Smith, DJ, and Niemann are the only Liv players who were ranked in the top 20 in the world when they left, so I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that all the top players were at Liv.

​@@jacobplourde2388 It is a dumb bot account. You would have to be crazy to think that a no cut 48 would be as difficult a field as any PGA tour event. There is basically two LIV golfers that actually can compete with the top 10 of the PGA. Stay classy.
