If we say Scottie is 2x better than the next best player on tour, Tiger was 4x at his peak. Not to discredit Scottie in any way, guy is absolutely dominant, just not to the same extent.

It's clearly a statement of who the best golfer currently is in the world. Scottie reminds me of the earlier days of tiger woods, when no one could beat tiger well, this is the new era & scottie is the newer version of tiger woods. Great week / win well done Scottie. Looking forward to see if anyone can challenge him in 2025

If you look at CAREER earnings ALL TIME (updated as of this victory today). The top 5 players contain 3 guys you'd expect of course. Tiger, Phil, Rory. Then Dustin Johnson, and rounding out the Top 5 is Scottie. He's already made 71 million which is only 50 mil behind Tiger, for Tiger's entire freaking career. Obviously purses bigger now than most of Tiger's career. Still, Scottie is on this train right now. I do NOT think its a Tiger comparable dominance. However, the only thing that holds me back from saying its Tiger equal is time. Scottie does this for 3-5 more years, it will be the best we've seen since Tiger. This tournament for example, he just is a machine and not only just won, but he distanced himself from the field in the final round which is EXACTLY how Tiger used to win.
