The PGA TOUR returns to Texas this week for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch, where Jason Day will attempt to defend his title. He claimed victory here in 2010, as well as 2023, and has three top-10s so far this season. The Australian most recently finished T18 at the RBC Heritage. Jordan Spieth will also be in the field, where he’ll be competing on the 14th anniversary of his PGA TOUR debut this week. The American claimed a T9 (2021) and solo second (2022) at TPC Craig Ranch in previous years. Spieth will return to his home state of Texas this week with confidence after finishing T10 at the Valero Texas Open earlier this month. The native Texan will attempt to break a long-standing curse, as no Texan has won this event since Scott Verplank in 2007. Others to look out for this week are Min Woo Lee, Tom Kim, Adam Scott and Jake Knapp

Its always great to see someone get a career changing victory. A brutal finish for Kohles but still a really important week for him. Pendrith moves up to 34 in Fedex Cup Sandings and Kohles up to 67.

Yeah seriously for Ben Kohles on his first full season out here after leading the KFT Money List last year. He's underperformed so far I'd say but this really helps him from having to deal with the threat of top 125.
