@Nosaveddata , you've clearly not watched the Russian national team since the world cup. They have been very impressive in all their games since then. I love especially how some of the world cup heroes like Akinfeev the goalkeeper and Ignasevich have retired yet the transition has been so smooth. They have a nice passing game which is good on the eyes unlike teams like England who still play long ball and have no distinctive style of play.🤦‍♂️🙄

@@PewPewPlasmagun , yep Alan Dzagoev is a very skillful player. He was the star of the Russian team before the world cup but sadly he got injured in the very first game. Kokorin was also a good striker before he went wayward. I'm hoping Kokorin regains his form and gets called for Euro 2020.😊

Embarrassment. 4-0 pumping's from Russia and Belgium. 3-0 pumping's from Belgium and KAZAKHSTAN. Meanwhile our smaller neighbours Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales are all holding their own with an arguably worse selection of players to choose from. Defence is absolutely terrible - attack not much better. Midfield has quality but under-performing. Marshall tries his best with the rubbish in front of him. I was a Clarke fan at the start but not so sure anymore. 1 or 2 goal loss against top teams is ok. 3 or 4 nil should be a one-off freak result, not happening 4 TIMES in one campaign. We pumped Albania 4-0 away from home in last seasons Nations League. It's only Albania but it was a tricky away game on paper. That team was full of energy and great to watch. We should have stuck with that team - McGregor, Paterson, Robertson, McKenna, Bates, C McGregor, Forrest, Fraser, Christie, Armstrong, Fletcher - bar the retired Allan McGregor. Too many changes in the team each game. Snodgrass is a good player but not committed so why allow him back in over midfielders like Forrest, Armstrong and Christie who are all committed and decent players? 4-0 Albania team should have been kept - 4-0, clean sheet, goals and a good committed performance - why dump them for guys who pick and choose when they play, championship rubbish and Kilmarnock players? Look at Liverpool - almost the same starting 11 every week - consistency is key. Find the right team (like the 4-0 Albania team) and stick with it.

The third goal is a perfect example of why I can no longer watch the full match. One attacker out muscles 3 Scotland defenders. Nothing Matters More? Where the hell is the coaching? And how people can still talk of qualifying after this amazes me. What do they think will happen at the tournament when we cannot score goals? I think one of the biggest mistakes was to give the job back to McLeish after the way he departed first time around. It cannot have been good psychologically for morale and Clarke is faced with an even bigger job to somehow instill belief. First task has to be to stop this terrible run then set up to beat smaller teams and take it from there. It is gonna take years on the strength of the last few performances and results mind. No disrespect to Russia, they look to have an excellent consistent team with some fine individuals, I think they have a big chance.
