Maynard and Saunders done really well last two games, possession based football. 546 passes, 85% pass completion and 60% possession against a league 1 team. 🤍🖤 few mistakes and we would of won that, I can live with that. 👌

Old habits die hard Three goals conceded, two mistakes. We are clearly better than this. Its time for the club to move on and and for good servant Sam to be politely moved out. Penalty saves , faultless displays and Sam Slocombe dont mix .Reality is, had LW not made the goalkeeper change in the wembley final then Notts County would still be languishing in the national league.

All Notts good work in the first half undone by some appalling defending and goalkeeping in the 2nd half. Entertaining game ,but Notts should have been out of sight in the 1st half with the chances they created and missed. Shrewsbury showed some class coming back,but they had a huge helping hand from a jaded looking Notts side in the 2nd half. Why was Jones took off? Well onwards and hopefully upwards,but Notts need to sort that backline out and find a goalie that can command his box and catch a ball!⚽

They're a league higher and this is a meaningless competition. We made a decent showing and can focus on the league, as we should.

thought that we had sorted the defence out. appalling first goal to concede. Even though Shrewsbury are Div 1 i think after a 2-0 lead our tactics were all wrong. I'm looking closely at Stuart Maynards set up!!

Positives. We scored 3 goals via 3 different players. Going out means hopefully we won't see Sam in goal again. Nice bloke, rubbish goalkeeper.

Get rid of this manager brings new keeper in drops him, and brings his mate in Edwards in and he lays a goal on for them, then what a piss pore penalty he took what are the owners doing ,let's face they gave our striker away a winger gone plus the lad who's gone to Norwich it's disgusting, won this game we might have got a big name it's a joke 😂😂😂😂
