After the PGMOL statement relating to the disallowed goal by Luis Diaz, Liverpool FC should demand that the disallowed goal is retrospectively added to the result, or the match result is deemed null and void, and the match replayed. Otherwise there is no material accountability. How can a goal be disallowed but not reinstated when the decision is proven to be an error.

As a Spurs fan, I feel bad for Liverpool. Diaz’s goal wasn’t offside. Apparently, for VAR, the lines were drawn, but VAR refs thought the goal was given on the field, when actually wasn’t. And they said check complete. However, since field refs said offside, they thought it was actually offside so the goal wasn’t given. There’s clear explanation from SkySports. I also think the ref was very biased. And your defending w 9 men was very impressive.

After checked the audio from VAR, the VAR & the referee should immediately stop the game & announce their mistake as it only started to play not more than 15 seconds rather than disallowed an onside goal which is a clear big mistake. Then apologize all openly after the match..This should be the solution. Just don't know what the VAR & the referee is thinking??? They are well experienced & it's not an excuse..

Too late. No one believe the referee and var after this until those who in charge var and referee get big punishment. Real winner could lose trophy due to these shi* people in charge. They seriously need to stop enjoying being corrupted and mistreated others because you don't know what will happen when underserve people lose their patience.
